Aathavan is a 17-year-old, Year 11 student who has been exploring the side effects of household painkillers. He has sought answers to the following question: is it possible to achieve a reduction of side effects in household painkillers such as paracetamol and ibuprofen, the abuse of which is an ever-increasing problem worldwide? In this talk, Aathavan presents about his proposed solutions and research towards the side effects of common pain killers. Through the Honours programme at the school, Aathavan has been exploring the side effects of household painkillers. He has sought answers to the following question: is it possible to achieve a reduction of side effects in household painkillers such as paracetamol and ibuprofen, the abuse of which is an ever-increasing problem worldwide?
