Future of work scenarios - well worth creating | Silvia Hernandez | TEDxMannheim

As a child, Siliva Hernandez’s mother encouraged her to always be self-confident and to get things right, even if this means to not take the easiest way. To predict what work life in the future will be like, is one of those unease ways - predictions fluctuate from dystopian to utopian scenarios. Due to the changing nature of the world surrounding us and the way we work, Silvia and her team are exploring the future of our work environment. They want to evolve their recruitment strategy to both hire the best talent today and anticipate the skills that will be needed to solve complex problems in the future. By doing so, she challenges our current perception of the future world by presenting and promoting a positive forecast of our future labour. Silvia was born and raised in Spain, has spent the last 25 years studying and working overseas. She joined EY in 2006. After graduating from the University of Leon and Manchester Metropolitan University, she obtained an MBA from the Goizueta Business School, of Emory University and recently completed Advanced Strategy Executive Education at INSEAD â€" Business School. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
