The Virtuos Circle of "Jobs to be Done" Welby Leaman is Senior Director for Global Government Affairs at Walmart, leading policy stakeholder strategy for the Americas. Previously, as a Trade Counsel to the Ways & Means Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, he drafted several provisions of trade promotion authority legislation, and provided House oversight of numerous chapters during negotiation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. He chairs the board of Nazareth Project; is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations; was an Eisenhower Fellow in Brazil; serves on advisory councils for the Wilson Center’s Mexico Institute, the Rosenthal Fellowship in International Relations, Aspen Institute’s Socrates Program, and INCAE Business School; and holds a BS in Business (Messiah College) and a JD (Yale Law).
