The Last Mile For Water | Kalpana Ramesh | TEDxMITID

An interior architect by profession is working passionately to preserve our most important life source- 'WATER' She studied architecture from BMS College, Bangalore and followed it up with a 2-year Diploma in Interior Design from ICS, Scranton, Pennsylvania, US. Kalpana has around 15 years of work experience in interior design and architecture. She has lived in US and Singapore, before returning to India to make Hyderabad her base. She is an amazing artist, and her keen artistic eye and love for colours is reflected in her designs. She is spontaneous and hands-on with her approach to work. Her vision towards spaces is volumetric, combining the built form with the interior space. She actively promotes rain water harvesting and is working with the government and other organisations towards spreading awareness of the same.
