A Soul's Burden | Marian Aden | TEDxMacalesterCollege

What helps you hold on to hope when things seem so hopeless? What gives you strength to keep going? Speaker Marian Aden reflects on life after loss and explores the destigmatization of grief. Marian is the Assistant Director of Residential Life here at Macalester and is from Alexandria, VA. Marian says that grief is one of the hardest things to talk about. It affects us all and there is no one way to feel or work through it. It's okay to feel sad, hurt, happy, and angry all at the same time. She hopes that by sharing her story individuals experiencing grief and loss know that they are not alone. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
