The disruptive concept of driverless cars has started to become reality with a number of recent commercial advances seen worldwide, but underneath these autonomous machines there exists an overlooked secret which is crucial for their existence. Priscilla explores this secret in-depth and discusses other aspects that will influence the deployment of driverless cars, the potential benefits to road users and the impacts to privacy. Priscilla is a young technologist, passionate about innovation that can make a difference to people's lives. She specialises in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), acting as the Honorary Secretary for the Women in ITS (ITS UK) industry group and is also a STEM ambassador.
