We have all been afraid. Our hearts race, our breathing hastens, our palms become sweaty, we feel lightheaded, and our minds are bombarded with thoughts of panic. But how do we save ourselves from fear's grip? Purva Joshi is currently a sophomore in high school and she has witnessed firsthand how it feels like to be a young adult in a world where there is always something to be afraid of. But now she shares the story of how a simple change in perspective allowed her to control the seemingly insurmountable power of fear. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
