The Heat of the Human | Lydia Albert | TEDxFAUJupiter

The idea to speak about current heart research came Lydia when she was watching the documentary “I am”. The documentary mostly focused on society ideals and how we define happiness, however, in a small portion of the film they showed the impact we have on others specifically the power our heart beat has on others. This idea was so intriguing to me that I decided to study this idea in-depth to find out the real truth behind it Lydia is a sophomore majoring in Biology at the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of FAU. She serves as the SAVI (Students Advocating for Volunteer Involvement) Director in Student Government and has volunteered in many places around the world, including the Dominican Republic. She is interested in pursuing a career that allows her be more involved in worldly affairs.
