What is your immigrant story? And how has it informed and guided you toward a more purposeful life, contributing to the common good? In this talk, Linh shares his refugees/immigrant journey in hope to restore faith in values that bind us as a people and as a nation Linh is a refugee from Vietnam and a naturalized citizen. After graduating from the University of Washington with a major in Political Science and a minor in International Relations, Linh continued his passion for public service as an officer in the US Army, which took him to many corners of the world including Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Upon leaving the service and making Seattle home, Linh pursued advanced studies in the Master in Leadership Development & System Change at the Leadership Institute of Seattle. Linh’s passionate and extensive experience in community organizing, leadership development, and cultural awareness/Diversity training led him to his current position as the District Representative for US Congressman Adam Smith, conducting outreach in the 9th Congressional District, as the lead staff on Foreign Affairs, NGO’s, Military, Veterans affairs, Progressives, Faith organizations, Law Enforcement, and Philanthropy.
