Young Norwegian composer and improvising pianist Maren Selvaag recieved excellent critics for her debut album "Close to Shore". The music is about belonging and connection between people, and as one critic said: "Her beautiful recording is a piece of lyrical and warm piano jazz performed in such a trustworthy and inviting way it feels like you have a new friend". Maren Selvaag is a composer and pianist in jazz and creative music from Norway. In the fall of 2016 she released her debut album "Close to Shore" and received excellent critics.
