Through 3 pieces, Nadia expresses her own unique style of performing. One piece in particular features a striking performance without the use of a bow. Nadia Francavilla, Montreal-born violinist and music educator, brings a collaborative spirit, a passion for new music, and a distinctly European sensibility to her performances. She particularly enjoys working with young composers, sharing in their creative process and nurturing their innovative spark. Meanwhile, explorations of improvised works and frequent collaborations with visual and multimedia artists have shaped her study of music as performance art.
