Her experiences living with local families in Panama and Egypt inspired her to activism and she hopes to spend the rest of her life educating people and creating bridges of peace and understanding between different cultures and people of different religions. Sarah cockey Is originally from the United States and a graduate of Florida State University where she studied International Affairs and Political Science. While living in the United States, Sarah worked with refugees helping them settle and acclimate in their new environment. She served as a board member of the Spokane Interfaith Council where she helped to bring people in different religions together in the community.
