In this touching TEDx talk Mr. Partho Bhowmick takes us on a journey of how a visually impaired can be taught the skills of photography and be encouraged to overpower his bodily limitations. Karmaveer Puraskar winner and the founder of Beyond Sight Foundation, Mr. Bhowmick captivates millions through his âBlind With Cameraâ initiative. He helps demystify the polarity between blindness and visual expression and provides a platform for the visually impaired to share their âinner galleryâ of images. Bhavesh Patel is visually impaired by birth. This did not however takeaway his strong passion for photography from him. Being mentored by Partho Bhowmick to work with the camera, Bhavesh becomes the world's first visually impaired photographer who has been engaged in a commercial photo-shoot. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
