Why I am a Proud Feminist | Jessica Miller | TEDxYouth@Dayton

Jessica Miller is a child of a small town in rural Ohio. In this powerful TED Talk, she explores the process of defining herself as coming *from* a place, but not being *of* that place as she grows into being a proud, modern feminist. Jessica lives in Tipp City and attends Tippecanoe High School as a senior. On January 21, 2017 she participated in the Women’s March in Dayton and has since then took to explaining her journey to activism. Jessica enjoys activities that allow her to explore her passions in art, music, literature, and service. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
