Imagine the next generation of x ray detectors | Hashini Thirimanne | TEDxSurreyUniversity

In this talk Hashini Thirimanne explores the past, present, and future of x ray detectors. Drawing on her research of nanotechnology and healthcare to introduce us to what could be the future of X Ray Detection Hashini Thirimanne is a final year PhD student at The Advanced Technology Institute at the University of Surrey. Having done her undergraduate studies in Chemistry back in Sri Lanka, she stumbled into researching nanomaterials. She will be joining us on March 3rd to talk about about the uses of nanotechnology in healthcare and introducing a new generation of X-Rays. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
