Society has been attempting to cram Giulia into one box or another since elementary school. Society wants to tell her what to study, the career to pursue, how to find security. However, she is not a quitter. Seeing many around her give up their dreams, she was inspired to spread her idea: that dreams are important, and meant to be followed until they are achieved. Giulia is a sophomore at ISF. Last year she moved to Florence from Amsterdam, where she attended the International School of Amsterdam. Being born in a Dutch and Italian family, she has encountered multiple cultural experiences. She enjoys reading, traveling, and learning. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
