The Secret Behind Chocolate Sticks and Carbon Nanotubes | Mohamed Berber | TEDxUSTZC

We are running very fast towards the end of our current energy resources. Berber talks about his project on hydrogen power as an alternative energy solution, and how he managed to overcome most of the obstacles in this project was by mimicking some of his daughters' toys that is composed of chocolate sticks and beads! Our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TEDxZewailCity/ Our Twitter account: https://twitter.com/TEDxZewail Berber carried out scientific research for more than 19 years including the research of polymer composites of carbon nanotubes (CNTs). During that period, he co-authored three academic books and published 34 academic papers and more than 80 conference papers. Dr. Berber is internationally recognized for his work in chemistry. His smart, sensitive polymeric material’s work was selected as one of the Hot Topics in Polymer Science Japan. Also, very recently his CNT work was highlighted in NATURE. Berber was dedicated in the year 2012 world forum sixth edition, OXFORD, as one of the great minds of the 21st century. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
