Three Simple Truths of Innovation | Marian Gaultney | TEDxHongKong

Maria Gauntley spoke about high standards, limited resources and passion for people being essential for innovation with her familiar experiences. Marian Gaultney Consultant, International Business Development Marian has lived and worked on four different continents and had a career spanning banking to consulting to now representing Hong Kong innovation abroad. After graduating in the United States, Marian began her banking career with what is now Bank of America.

She then moved to London and became a partner in a private equity firm eventually running its Swiss branch as the Managing Director. Marian started her own consulting business in 1997 leading to projects from Switzerland to India to the US and to Hong Kong. Earlier this year, Marian joined the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation in its Marketing and Sales Division. Marian and her husband, Steve, are parents of three children, currently living on three different continents. If Marian were going to write a Post-it note with a recommendation on it, it would have one word on it: connect!
