Low Self-Confidence, And a Way to Fight It | Simon Zhao | TEDxYouth@HamberSchool

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Simon’s talk will be about the comfort zone, self-confidence, and something he believes many people lack. The “something” will be revealed in his talk, so be sure to be ready for it! No matter what he decides to do, Simon Zhao only has two life goals he wants to achieve throughout his time here on Earth; to be happy, and to make others happy. A self-proclaimed optimist, he can often be seen around with a smile on his face or laughing (probably at something dumb). Every time he is faced with an activity that is out of his comfort zone, expect him to do it anyways because he can. Lover of sports, and a busy student, Simon Zhao’s leisure time is either spent at practice/games or at home doing homework/studying. Simon enjoys sleeping, and is a strong believer in the power that comes with a good night’s rest. Simon hopes you enjoy his talk, and would like to give shout-outs to the TEDxYouth@HamberSchool team. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
