Posthumous TEDtalk Joep Lange | Kees Hulst | TEDxAmsterdam 2014

www.tedxamsterdam.com Days before boarding the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines MH17, Joep Lange wrote an article for a booklet about research in Africa. To honor Joep Lange, TEDxAmsterdam would like to share his words with the world. Joep Lange was a leading AIDS researcher with love for the African continent, and a commitment to make health care accessible worldwide. Joep helped shape the field with his pioneering research on combination antiretroviral therapy and mother-to-child transmission of HIV. His mission was to see people living with HIV in low-income countries receive the most effective available treatment. His ideas and vision are definitely worth spreading. So here's a tribute to this great gentleman.
