""Pointing Out Minute Differences as a Visual Artists"" As a visual artists, speaker SEAN Se Hwan Roh focuses on materializing film and pictures. Having graduated from Kyunghee University with a Western Art Major, he spent a few years working in photography before heading to Londonâs Slade School of Fine Arts to major in media arts. He is an optimistic person who tries to observe phenomena from a pessimistic perspective. Through his optimistic and cheerful works of art, speaker Roh throws questions on the minute differences between objects and the cracks between themes. He is stationed in Seoul but holds exhibitions in New York, Japan, London, Hong Kong, and all over the world. He has received much praise for his exhibitions âMeltdownâ and âEducated Sensitivityâ. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
