The high vocal chords in this Monteverdi composition, done by Nora Fisher and Claren McFadden accompanied by Mike Fentross on lute, resonates through the beautiful old hall of the Stadsschouwburg. Amsterdam-based singer Nora Fischer has been hard at work, developing an adventurous performance practice by using her voice as a versatile instrument. She has a strong interest in creating an informal and personal atmosphere during concerts and a unique approach to live performances. Her friend Claron McFadden has already performed several times on the TEDx Stage and was awarded the Amsterdam Prize of the Arts. Nora and Claron are founding members of Splendor Amsterdam: a collective of musicians, composers and performing artists who have together, transformed an old bath house in the center of Amsterdam into a cultural haven.
