Patrick Seabase is Switzerland's premier track bike rider - a bike with no handbrakes and only one gear - using it to push the limits of what is possible. In this talk, he discusses crossing the premier peaks of the French Pyrenees as part of the #Seabase1910: riding the Pyrenees on a Fixed Gear Bike. A track bike rider and a creative individual, Patrick Seabase grew up in Bern, Switzerland, inspired by the extreme highways through the peaks of the Alps. Today, he uses a track bike as the center of what he does and as his main tool to compete against the distance, roads, and terrain.
